Comedian Cowboy Bill Martin to Co-Headline Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club at the Tropicana in Las Vegas for NFR
Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club and the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Las Vegas are proud to present Comedian Cowboy Bill Martin, December 6-12 during the National Finals Rodeo Week.
Emmy award-winning actor/comedian Brad Garrett, who is best known for his role as “Robert” on the hit TV show, Everyone Loves Raymond, opened his new comedy club this past June. Garrett said, “A lot of people don’t know that I got my start as a stand-up and it has always been a dream of mine to own a club. And as the owner, I not only get to be around what will always be my first love, but it gives me an opportunity to discover new talent and give someone else a chance to follow their dream.”Garrett went on to say, “The National Finals Rodeo week is one of the busiest times of the year for Las Vegas. And when we looked at putting this week together, I ask my staff, “who is the next biggest star coming out of the “country comedy” genre that we can build a real following around for the Comedian Cowboy Bill wearing a Pink Ariat shirt as part of his “Pink Out Cowboy” event? It needs to be someone who is for Susan G. Koman and Breast Cancer Awareness really ready for the national spotlight and not just country, just for the sake of being country. “Garrett added, “And my booking agent for the club called me and said, there is a guy out of Texas that is absolutely tearing up audiences from coast to coast. Plus, he just got back, not too long ago, from headlining a tour in the Middle East for our Armed Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan on the Red, White and a little Bluer Tour. In addition, he dedicates one show a week to the Susan G. Koman Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness. And I know he is exactly what you are looking for. So, we checked him out, met with him and I am excited to announce that we’ve signed, Cowboy Bill Martin, to co-headline with Texas comedic legend, Ron Shock, Dec. 6-12.” Writer/Comedian Cowboy Bill Martin has built a loyal following of fans from coast to coast the old fashioned way – by working the road. The Texas native headlines all of the most prestigious clubs and theaters across the U.S. and Canada. Martin has also toured with country music’s elite including George Strait, legendary singer, George Jones on an 18 city tour of Canada and was part of the CMT Most Wanted Live Tour with Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts and Chris Cagle.
